Concept store. Swimwear, Burleigh Heads
A loud, friendly swimwear store that sells separates in the right sizes.

The brief
Tidepool Swim is a fictional Gold Coast swimwear label, and this is a concept store designed by Laneway Commerce to show our work. It is not a client and we make no claims about results. The imagined brief: bright product, sold as separates, with sizes that vary between top and bottom, and a need to cut down on fit-related returns while keeping the store fun.
Colour first, pill shapes everywhere
The palette is sunny sand with a coral accent and a turquoise band. Pill buttons and 28px image corners give a soft, friendly shape. Headings are set in a wide, heavy geometric face that reads well on a phone beach-side.
The homepage hero is a three-image collage so the first screen shows range, colour and body diversity.
Separates, with size guidance
Most customers wear a different size top and bottom, so the store sells them as separate products with a mix-and-match picker. A fit guide with bust, hip and rise measurements sits beside every size selector. Colour swatches swap the gallery, and an out-of-stock size triggers a back-in-stock email.
Returns and Australian specifics
Swimwear has a hygiene-seal returns rule that must be stated before purchase. The returns policy says so plainly and sits alongside consumer guarantees. See Shopify returns and the Australian Consumer Law. Shipping uses Australia Post and Aramex, prices are GST inclusive, and Afterpay and Zip show on product pages.
